"One of the biggest challenges I have had in business is standing out in the crowd. Luckily I found Jodi Bogart and her exceptional artistic talent. Jodi has done illustrations for my book, card decks, website, and many workbooks. People often tell me that her images were what pulled them in and made them want to know more about what I do. She brings love, joy, whimsy, and something unique to each design. She is lovely to collaborate with and brings a vision to life with her beautiful images. Thank you Jodi!"

"I love the creativity and heart that Jodi puts into her creations. Her delightful spirit speaks in her art.
Her series of Soul Sisters Greeting Cards are my favorite! They are such beautiful pieces that I resonate with. I treasure them and love to sit down with a cup of tea to write a meaningful note to a special person to express my feelings of love, support & gratitude. Each piece inspires me to write from my heart and soul."
“Jodi is everything one would want in a teacher; kind, patient, encouraging, fun, and caring. I have taken a number of classes from her and they have always felt grounded, centering, expansive and satisfying. I come away with more clarity and self-knowledge.
Jodi is a delightful person; authentic and positive. I honestly feel so blessed to know her and to have experienced her classes. Everyone I know who has taken her classes feels the same - it is a memorable experience, a gift to yourself.

Hi! I’m Jodi Bogart – artist, teacher, designer, and life coach.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been creating art. I would spend hours in my room drawing, coloring, making pop-up cards and dolls out of tissue paper – basically, anything I could get my hands on.
Making art makes me feel more alive. I feel connected to a part of myself that is joyful, hopeful and childlike. It’s like I’m still that little girl in my room playing with colors. People often tell me that when they see my art, they feel happy and uplifted. I believe it’s because that’s how I feel when I’m creating. Life is full of beauty, ups and downs, loss, love and everything in between. If my artwork can bring a touch of whimsy or lightness to someone’s day, there is nothing that makes me happier!
Besides making art, I’m passionate about helping others connect to their creative spark. I often hear people say they aren’t creative or “good” at art. I believe that we are all creative and that we can become good at what we practice. More importantly, it’s about the process more than the outcome. I’ve taught many people over the years to paint, draw and design. I love teaching because I get to support others as they learn to express themselves in new ways!
I live in Ventura, California, a little beach town about an hour from Los Angeles. I’m a mom of six adult children. My husband and I have a dream to travel around the county in our Sprinter van making art and music!
Below are some examples of my art and the various styles and subjects that I like to paint. If you are interested in purchasing a print of any of these originals, please reach out at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
I was asked to paint a couple of pictures for a local art museum. I looked around my house searching for inspiration and grabbed my paints and began painting my dining room. Instead of carefully planning and sketching it out, I just went for it! To me it looks like things are almost animated because there is a wobbly aspect to the lines. I love painting in this stylistic way. It’s loose and fun!
When I painted this piece, I was stuck for months. I didn’t know what to do next, so I put her away until I felt guided. One day, I looked at this painting and knew how to move forward, and began painting again. I wish I had a picture of her before I changed her to what you see now. It looks like two different paintings! She is titled “Listening to her wisdom”.
This creature doesn’t have a name. She looks like she can live in water, the earth, and outer space. This is what’s so fun about creating.... it doesn’t have to make sense; it’s artistic license. One thing that I notice is that many of my creations have a heart on their throat. I believe that when we speak from our heart, we can truly hear and see each other which makes us feel more connected.
I love drawing little animal characters! They are silly and make me happy. I often put characters together that don’t get along in real life; dogs and cats, cats and mice, dog, cat and mouse in one scene! Maybe it’s my desire for harmony among all living creatures? It’s my dream to illustrate a children’s book so maybe these little guys will be in a story someday.
