Ever since I can remember I've been creating art. As a child I would spend hours in my room drawing, painting and coloring. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do when I grew up,
I just knew it had to involve artistic expression!
When I was in college I decided to become a Graphic Designer. I had no idea what a graphic designer did but it sounded like fun and a profession where I could use my creativity.
Here I am thirty years later still designing!
In addition to doing graphic design, I am also a Certified Life Coach. Nearly fifteen years ago I went though
a divorce. This was a very difficult and painful time in my life. My break-up launched me on a journey of
self-discovery and growth. I learned how capable and strong I am as well as how much
I love being of service to others. Becoming a coach has been deeply rewarding. I love holding space
for my clients as they go for their dreams in order to live a more fulfilling life.
An important part of being an effective Life Coach is to ask key questions. I decided to ask myself
what would bring even more joy to my life. I realized it was time to get back to the very thing that I did
when I was a child – explore my artistic expression! I was drawn to a process called "Intentional Creativity" founded by Shiloh McCloud. This painting process helped me go deep within myself to find my own wisdom, identity as an artist and the freedom to express myself.
I combine my creative background and coaching experience to lead art therapy groups with adolescents,
as well as creative and healing workshops with women.
I live in Ventura with my wonderful husband of eight years.
Together we've helped raise six awesome children, two dogs and a cat!
